Ann Glendine Griffin

On February 4th, 2022, Ann Glendine Griffin passed from this life to eternal life in Heaven. Ann was born on February 3rd, 1948 in Muscatine, Iowa. She grew up in Columbus Junction, Iowa. She later met and married her Husband Michael (Mickey) Griffin in 1976. They made their home in Burlingame, California for the last 45 years where she raised her three sons, Sean (wife Maria), Patrick (wife Sara), and Michael III (Katie). She was blessed with six wonderful grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Brooke, Patrick Jr., Luke, Dylan, Jameson and Ella. Ann was a loving, compassionate, and outgoing person who often expressed how blessed her life was with her family and friends. Ann was a person of deep religious faith who believed in giving of oneself for others. She remained close to her family and friends in Iowa with frequent trips back for personal visits followed by letters and phone calls. Ann found fulfillment in reaching out with phone calls, notes and personal visits to those struggling with loneliness, especially the elderly from her church community at Our Lady of Angels. All who knew Ann would agree she was a shining example of how we should all live our lives. Her legacy will always be in the way she lived her life. Rest in Peace with the Lord Ann, until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life and Mass will take place at Our Lady of Angels Church, 1721 Hillside Dr. Burlingame, CA. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10am. A reception will follow at 95 Country Club Dr. Hillsborough.
