She received Her Wings January 26, 2022.
Arrissa acknowledged Christ at an early age. She was raised in Church and always recognized Christ as her personal SAVIOUR.
Arrissa was selected to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum of Law & CSI in Washington, D.C. the summer of (June 29, 2010 - July 4, 2010). The fact that she was chosen, to attend with hundreds of other students from around the U.S., implies an academic preparedness consistently found in the best students in the country! During the Forum Arrissa visited Capitol Hill and toured the Supreme Court. She also participated in a mock trail and an ethics discussion. She had the time of her life. We were all extremely proud of our little scholar!
Arrissa has always had an interest within the Judicial System. She wanted to be an Attorney; I told her great! You’ll be an excellent Attorney; rather if it’s Defense or Prosecutor. You’re witty, bright, and optimistic and also a swift critical thinker…Go For It! And She Did!
She decided to become a Paralegal; and eventually transition into an exceptional Attorney. She started attending Heald College in Milpitas, California---for which, she made the Dean’s List twice. However, Heald College abruptly shut its doors; but, that didn’t stop My Baby-Girl, she got her transcript and started all over at; West Valley Community College, in Saratoga, California.
Arrissa leaves to cherish her memories; Her Mother, Darlene Grimes. Her brothers; Abe Tolliver, III, Aaron M. Tolliver (Her Twin) and Benjamin ‘Tony’ Moore. Her sister; Tameka N. Tolliver. And one niece; Mauriesha Cooper. Her God-Mother, Auntie Monica Yvonne Murray. Her Auntie’s Nadine Hutton, LaVanta Green, Darcel Guidry, Delores Savannah and Lanee Grimes; Grandparent’s Willie Sr. and Barbara Grimes---And a Host of Friends, Cousins and more Uncles & Aunties.
Arrissa My Angel, My Sweet Little Girl
My Whole Heart
My Precious Daughter
I will miss You Forever
and EVER and EVER.
My Beautiful Baby-Girl, Forever My Angel
Your Wings were ready, but My Heart was not.
You gave no one a last farewell, nor ever said good-bye;
You were gone before we know it, and only God know why.
I Thank God, He made You My Daughter while You were here on earth.
Arrissa, Mommy Thanks God that He Blessed Me with You for 28 years; You grew up into
such a Lovely Wonderful, Kind, Gentle Soul, Caring and Compassionate young lady. Your
kind-heartedness for others stood beyond admirations. You were funny; You had such an infectious sounding laughter; a smile that would light-up a room and Your voice; the sound of Your voice, that nice-sweet-gentle sound---would melts All and Everyone’s Hearts.
My Daughter, My Baby-Girl, there just aren’t words to explain how much You mean to Me.
Arrissa, those special memories of You will always bring a smile.
The fact that you’re no longer here in the flesh, will always cause Me pain---but, You’re
FOREVER In My Heart, Until We’re Together Again.
I Have An Angel In Heaven---I Call Her
My Daughter.
A Letter From
Our
Angel
My Family, When tomorrow starts without Me,
And I’m not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find Your eyes,
Filled with tears for Me.
I wish so much You wouldn’t cry,
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things
We didn’t get to say.
I know how much You Love Me,
As much as I Love You.
And each time You think of Me,
I know You’ll miss Me too.
When tomorrow starts without Me,
Don’t think we’re far apart,
For every time You think of Me,
I’m Right Here
In Your Heart.
Arrissa
