Donny Eugene Vaillancourt

"Donald (Donny) Eugene Vaillancourt passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2017, at the age of 32. He was born on September 18, 1984. Donny is survived by his parents, Marilyn Cartwright (Richard) and Henry Vaillancourt (Jane), his sister, Jennifer Tipton (Matt), his girlfriend, Brittany Stevenson, and his Grandmothers, Eugenia Adair and Eugenia Vaillancourt. Following his passion for animals, Donny was on his way to realizing his dream of becoming a zookeeper. He had completed internships at the San Francisco Zoo’s Animal Resource Center (ARC) and working with elephants at the Oakland Zoo. Donny was well-known for his infectious smile, a big heart, and an uncanny ability to connect with people in a positive manner. A celebration of Donny’s life will be held on Saturday, July 29, at the San Francisco Zoo's Great Hall beginning at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the San Francisco Zoo in the memory of Donny Vaillancourt, Animal Resource Center (ARC) intern."
