Eugene Richard Rollins

Gene was born in Littleton, NH and raised in Lisbon, NH.

After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he was stationed at Lemoore, Naval Air Station in CA from 1963-1967.

He met his wife Mary, on a blind date in 1965, they married in 1967.

They have three children, twins Teresa and Tamara and youngest daughter Stephanie. He has been a resident of Pacifica for 45 years. Gene worked as a welder at United Airlines from 1967 until he retired in 2001. He was a soccer and softball coach for his daughters. His hobbies included woodworking and golfing.

Gene leaves behind his wife of 57 years Mary, three daughters; Teresa Jacini of Chandler, AZ, Tamara Butler (Steve) of Lodi, CA, Stephanie Carmona (Jorge) of Pacifica, CA, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. He is survived by his older brother Donald Rollins of Hayden ID, sister Beverly Fletcher of Eugene, OR and younger brother Dale Rollins of Hayden ID. He was preceded in death by his mother Lettie Merrill, his stepfather Clyde Merrill and two brothers Alvin and Robert Rollins.

The family will be holding a celebration of life on May 24, 2024, from 12pm-4pm at the Sharp Park Golf Course.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting remembrances to the American Cancer Society or the Sarcoma Foundation of America.
