Mrs. Canutt was my fourth grade teacher (1991?) at Graham and what a magnificent year that was for me. So many memories with a teacher truly dedicated to learning through adventure and investigation. She was one of a kind and influenced and impacted my life! Thank you, Mrs. Canutt!

I will simply echo what others have said... Goldia was such a dedicated teacher who continued to share her love of teaching and energy with students and others in our district years after her retirement. She was definitely one of those "young at heart" individuals who made a difference in the lives of others. It was a pleasure to see her on campus and have lunch together when she subbed at our school. Condolences to her family.

I am sad to hear the news of Goldie passing.  She was always the best guest teacher, the children loved her and I always knew she would be there, on time and with a happy heart.
Her energy inspired me, and her happiness warmed my heart.


My fond memories of  Goldie was from Graham.  She was a dynamic teacher who always brought so much joy  to her lessons.  Though she retired a few years after I joined the staff, she seemed to have more energy than I!  Later, she was my favorite sub because I was so  confident that the students would be learning more with her than me since she has such a wealth of experience and expertise.  You will be missed Goldie!  Thank you.  

It is with a heavy heart to learn about the passing of an incredible human being.  Goldie was such an integral part of our school community at Schilling during the latter part of her career. She was kindhearted, reliable, and hardworking. I appreciate all the times she substituted in my classroom and it was a delight to see her subbing in other classrooms as well. Thank you for your service and the way you’ve touched many children’s lives. You are an inspiration and just like your name, you are precious! Rest In Peace our dear Goldie.

Goldia was such a kind lady with a great heart. I loved hearing her talk about her granddaughter and softball. I also enjoyed when she would substitute in my classroom at Graham. 
We were all very lucky to know GoldiA. My sincere condolences to the entire family. Know that Graham loved Goldia and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I was lucky to know Goldia through Graham Elementary school. I’m in her old classroom room 23. She subbed for me many times and she was very kind to my sons now 23 and 17. They actually went to graham school and she was their substitute teacher many times. Goldie I will miss seeing you in the lunchroom and telling your funny stories. I wish I could have seen you this year. Goldie was loved so much by so many.  You are forever in my heart.
