Michael Francis Barragan

Miguel F. Barragan January 4, 1936 - January 31, 2022 passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years old on January 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his son, Miguel Baca Barragan. Survived by daughter Monica, and three grandchildren Eduardo Jr., Elicia and, Elianna . His life has taken him through a journey of spirituality, intellectualism, politics, business, philanthropy and of course his music. He blended his spiritual worship as a Catholic Priest, Corporate Attorney, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and Musician to assist his community in his people's quest for economic self sufficiency and political recognition. His vision helped shape the progressive path of the Latino / Chicano Community. He was a deeply religious, spiritual person with a need to inspire, thru Community Service, Business Expertise and, the sharing and creation of his Music. Funeral Service will be held on February 18, 2022. at Five Wounds Portuguese National Parish, 1375 East Santa Clara Street, San Jose, CA. 95116. Rosary: 10:00 A.M. Rosary and Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 A.M..
