Veronica Rose Koenig

Veronica was born January 14, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York; she was the youngest of the eight children of Elizabeth and Raymond Touseull.

She married Joseph Koenig in 1955. She would remain married for 65 years and become mother of six children, eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A faithful Catholic, she bore special devotion to Our Blessed Mother, attending daily mass and serving as Eucharistic minister at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in San Jose, California.

A funeral mass will be held on December 4 at Our Lady of the Pillar Church in Half Moon Bay, California at 10 AM with internment to follow at Sky Lawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.

She is survived by her brothers, Charlie and Eugene Touseull; her husband, Joseph Koenig; and her six children, Karen, Kurt, Kayne, Kara, Kim, and Keith, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital.
