William G. Irvine

He leaves behind his beloved daughter Michelle Irvine of St. Maries, Idaho. His sister Dorothy (Irvine) and her husband Russ of Walla Walla, Washington and their families all of Washington state. He was predeceased by his father and mother. Grover Irvine his wife Katherine. His brother Donald Irvine all from Lewiston, Idaho. He also leaves behind his loving companion of many years Karen Franzenburg of San Jose and her family, son Alan Franzenburg wife Mica and three granddaughters Vicky, Alondra and Sophia of Modesto. Bill graduated from the University of Idaho in 1959 with a degree in Architecture. He moved to the bay area in 1969 and opened his firm Irvine Architects Inc. He designed high-rise buildings, restaurants, townhouse complexes and homes in the bay area. He retired several years ago and devoted most of his recent years to writing short stories and enjoying life. He will be dearly missed. Interment will be a private family service at Los Gatos Memorial Park in Los Gatos, Ca. In lieu of flowers

Bill had requested donations can be made for a tree to be planted in the Nez Perce Clearwater Forest in Idaho.
