Carol was born in Ohio on November 17, 1950. She was the youngest with two older brothers. Always stating 'she was born on the wrong side of the tracks' she quickly moved to California as soon as she was of age. Having two daughters in her early 20's to take care of on her own, she raised them to be strong and independent. After meeting Brain Bailey in the early 80's she knew that was who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. Carol married Brian and quickly they added Jacob to the family mix. With 'King Jake' as he was known, being the baby of the family, the five set off on making a permanent home in Huntington Beach.
Carol enjoyed the next several decades hosting many parties at their home. Her Christmas parties compared to none as it seemed the entire city always came out. Halloween was an especially spooky time at the Baileys with decorations, costumes, food, drinks, and fun. Carol worked at Summit Steel for many years where lifelong friendships were made.
Carol made a point to help with work parties and organizing as that was a thrill for her.
Her interests were all types of crafts whether toll painting, flower arranging, cake decorating, crocheting blankets, watching videos of her grandchildren out of state, and did we say hosting parties? But her passion was camping. Enjoying time with friends and family out on the open road listening to music by the campfire and driving around in their golf cart was the very best times of her life.
Carol lost her beloved husband Brian in August of 2023. She is survived by her three children Dina, Danielle, and Jake, her son in law Michael, daughter in law Sheena, six grandchildren Megan, Alex, Levi, Zoe, Cricket, and Jamie (the next King as the baby of the family).
