Charles James Vaughn of Palm Desert California passed away on July 7, 2023 at 4:30 am. He was 94 years old. Charles was born on June 21, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a pattern maker and wood worker by trade. He then transitioned into a career in Sales, culminating as Vice-President of Sales for West American Rubber Company in Orange California until he retired. He was a life-long Shriner and served as secretary and treasurer for the Alameda County chapter. He loved golf and played well into his late 80’s. Charles leaves behind his loving wife Helen after 71 years of marriage; sons Charles (Pete) and Richard, son-in-law Neil Gussardo, daughter Connie and granddaughter Kelly. Services held privately.
