Charlotte Rose van Kleef Woerz was born in Los Angeles, California on February 5, 1950, and peacefully went home to Our Lord in Riverside, California on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, William Woerz Jr.; sons William (Amber) Woerz III of Moreno Valley, California, and Steven Woerz of Riverside, California; grandsons William Woerz IV and Jakob Woerz; sisters Eva (Kim) Badley of Ocean Shores, Washington, Nellene Westra of Hemet, California, and Margaret (John) Slavik; brother William (Marlys) van Kleef, and many nieces and nephews who affectionately called her “Auntie Char”. Always smiling, Charlotte could light up a room with her smile and her heart of gold. Charlotte grew up in Southern California, the daughter of William van Kleef and Wilma (Navis) van Kleef and graduated from Savanna High School in Anaheim California in 1968. She would graduate from Marinello Beauty School and lived in Yucca Valley before moving to Riverside in 1974. Charlotte worked alongside her mother at the Cypress Gardens Care Center where she would meet the love of her life, her husband, William in 1976. She would devote her life to her boys and teach them many things that they carried into their adult years. Becoming a grandmother was her “greatest accomplishment” and she doted on her grandsons with a love that could not be measured. A Celebration of Life will be held at a day and time to be determined and Inurnment will be private.
