Dixie passed away peacefully on May 25. Born in Anchorage Alaska, she made her way to California via Washington, where she spent her younger years. She was a longtime resident of the area, moving to San Bernardino in 1965, and was a resident of Highland at the time of her death. She raised two children and enjoyed a long and successful career working in the legal profession. She was a neighborhood advocate and fought to keep her neighborhood safe and secure for its residents, working with local law enforcement and local advocacy groups. She was predeceased by her sister Laura and brother Claude. She is survived by her younger sister Gail of Medford Oregon, two daughters, Shelby of Seattle, Washington and Kirby of Roseville, California, and her grandchildren, Terry, Bradley, and Jenna. She will be missed by her friends and family. There will be no services. In leu of flowers or cards, please donate to dementia and Alzheimer’s research.
