Donald Arthur Lee

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Arthur Lee announces his passing after a long illness, on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the age of 83.

Born in San Bernardino and raised in Redlands by his parents Vernon and Arline Lee of Redlands, CA and a son Rodney Lee all of who preceded him in death. Don went to Redlands High School and attended Golden West College. He served in the Coast Guard and worked in Sales and Marketing most of his adult life. Don was a 26 year member of the Elks, a lifelong member of the American Legion, was a past Commander of the American Legion Post 421, and a member of The Loyal Order of the Moose. Don was an avid golfer and enjoyed winning 1st place trophies at tournaments throughout the Inland Empire. He was a quiet man yet full of wit who enjoyed reading and playing cards with friends.

Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife Karen of 25 years. Survived by his sons Dr. Brian Lee of Las Vegas, NV and Shawn Lee of Columbus, GA, step-daughter April Ericson of Redlands, CA, and step-son Robert Kitson of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by his sister Jeannine and brother-in-law Larry Lanza. Don had eight grandchildren, Alexis Reynoso of Los Angeles, Skyla Lee of San Bernardino, CA, Landon Lee of Columbus ,GA, Ashton, Ashlyn, Lyndon, Dillon and Bryson Lee of Las Vegas, NV, one great grandchild Esaias Reynoso. Five step-grandchildren, Winston and Gordon Vongnepunt of Las Vegas, NV, Willow, Morgan, and Jaco Kitson of Yucaipa, CA, Neice, Marci Mitchell of Cameron Park, CA , Nephews Tony Lanza of Hunntington Beach, CA and Mike Lanza of Costa Mesa, CA. Also survived by brothers-in-laws, Earle Lincoln of Ponce Inlet, Fl and Robert Lincoln of Easley. SC. A Memorial Service will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 2:30 PM.
