Edward Noriega

Edward “Eddie” Noriega passed away on May 3, 2018 at the age of 78. Born in Carlsbad, CA on April 18, 1940, he retired to Palm Desert, CA with his wife Rowena in 2006. He was a true Californian, being an avid golfer, surfer, tennis player, dancer and fisherman. Camping in his motor home was one of his favorite holidays.

Ed was one of a kind, truly an exceptional human being. His sense of humor was contagious. He was upbeat, even often through the difficult trials he faced as a cancer patient. A room came alive when Ed walked in with his infectious personality.

His love for his family…wife Rowena, daughters Tiffany and her husband Kevin, and Sonja; granddaughters Nicole and Hannah, and Elizabeth and her husband Vicente, and great grandson Brady...was always supportive, proud and loving. Family and friends meant everything to Ed. They will truly miss this “special” guy who was a real sweetheart, and his family will miss their Papa. He was preceded in death by his brother Alford in 2007.

Services will be held at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego on June 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
