Gloria Diaz passed away on January 21, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. She was a loving wife, daughter, mom, mother-in-law, sister, tia, “glamma”, and friend. She especially valued her time with her daughter Natasha, and her nieces, Charlotte, Zoey and Callie. She also loved spoiling her two dogs, Flick and Danny Boy.
Gloria was a vibrant and energetic woman who loved leading her local chapter of the Red Hat Society and was beloved by hundreds of fellow Red Hatters nationwide. She was known for her colorful attire and blinged-out sense of fashion. She loved to travel, especially on fun road trips with her best friend, Jeanne. One of her most memorable experiences was spending two weeks last summer on a European cruise with Natasha and her husband, Mark. However, she was hesitant to go during the baseball season because she'd miss watching the Dodgers!
Gloria was born on January 25, 1955 to Mateo Garcia and Celia Garcia, and grew up in La Habra, CA. She married her loving husband, Tony Diaz, on May 2, 1992. She will be reunited in heaven with her parents and husband alongside her brothers, David and Danny.
Gloria is survived by her daughter Natasha, son-in-law Mark, brother Ruben, sisters Celia and Rosa, brother-in-law Robert, nephews Nathan, Aaron, Nico, and Maverick, nieces Natalie and Danielle, and grand-nieces Charlotte, Zoey and Callie.
