Joan B Carrillo

Joan Carrillo, 78, of La Quinta, California, left us on Thursday, November 8, 2018, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born October 11, 1940, in West Orange, New Jersey, to George and Doris McPartland (deceased).

Joan grew up in New Jersey and after graduating from Glen Ridge High School, moved to California where she resided ever since.

Joan was a hard worker and had many interesting jobs, the last being a Leasing Assistant at Luxury Leasing, from where she retired several years ago.

She loved cooking (best spaghetti sauce ever), watching TV, In-N-Out Burger, “Elvis” (cried at Graceland), and dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Gilbert Carrillo, her sister, Beverly Santos (Joe), nieces and nephews, Kimberly Hefner, Karrie Montgomery (Scott), Morgan Montgomery, Megan Montgomery, Tanner Montgomery, Isabel Montgomery, Christina Santos, Charlotte Oliver (Santos), Rosy Reyes-Coad (Kevin) whom she thought of as her daughter, numerous cousins and friends, and her dogs Misty, Blanco, and Blinkey.

We would like to thank Family Hospice Care for their kindness and support. Per her wishes, she will be cremated. Arrangements are being handled by the Trident Society Also per her wishes, there will be no services.

Joanie will be remembered for her love of family, friends, and all her four-legged fur babies.
