6/15/1964 – 4/15/2018
Kim Daniel Michael Westfall passed away early Sunday morning the fifteenth day of April 2018 after suffering a heart attack late Saturday evening. She was recovering in the Intensive Care Unit of Riverside Regional Medical Center when she lost her battle and succumbed.
She disliked meetings and in keeping with her wishes, there will be no service. We have no doubt she walks with God in eternal life. Her ashes will be interred at the National Veterans Cemetery in Riverside California.
She is survived by her mother Kathy Hill, her aunt Pat Pagendarm, her son William Michael and her husband Bill Westfall.
Kim was born and spent her early life in Northern California. She moved often in her childhood and attended many schools before settling down in Orange County. She enjoyed competitive shooting in her earlier years. She was also a nationally ranked archer and a small business owner. In her lifetime she worked as a waitress, a tow truck driver and a mortgage underwriter.
She worked tirelessly to help get the Orange County Central Park qualified for the ballot. And was very satisfied to see the vote pass and the park begin to take shape. She was also very generous with multiple charities over the years and regularly donated blood. Her beautiful long hair was also routinely donated to a charity that made wigs for persons with medical issues.
She was an avid music fan and enjoyed almost all types of music. She enjoyed attending concerts with her son. She also spent many hours in support of her son’s high school marching band. As a band supporter she spent much of her time helping her son and his team achieve much recognition.
In the last few years she led a somewhat slower pace and spent her time gardening and watching the birds that flocked to her backyard garden with her husband while sipping water on the patio.
Her kindness and big heart touched many and her spirit has left us deeply saddened.
