Olga Vasquez passed away peacefully in her Upland, CA home of 25 years, on Friday Oct. 8th, 2021. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas where she spent her entire child and adolescent life. She would develop lifelong friendships and also meet the love of her life Valentin(Val) in Brownsville.
They both would move to Southern California in the 60’s where they would date, marry and remain married for 60 years. They Started their family here and had three wonderful children Victor, Yvette and Michelle. Olga spent time working at Newberry’s in the main office for a number of years.
She enjoyed multiple yearly family and extended family get togethers. A number of lifelong friends from Brownsville also resided here in Southern California and had stayed in constant contact.
Olga was a women with a strong faith in God. She was a devout Catholic, and she is at peace with God by her side.
Olga was a beautiful light in our live’s and is dearly missed by her children, grandchildren Alexandria, Adam and Austen, along with her great grandchildren Julia and Olivia, plus all extended family members.
She will be laid to rest with her husband Val at Oak Park Cemetery in Claremont, CA. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
