Patti Weihl passed away March 30 at her Palm Desert home after a long illness at the age of 65. She was blessed with love and support from family and friends during her time of illness.
Patti was born in Hillsboro, Oregon. Her family moved to Vancouver, Washington in 1959 where she lived until 2021. She was a 1976 graduate of Fort Vancouver High School and attended Central Washington University. Following her college years, she worked as a ski hostess at Heavenly Valley Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe. She later began a career in the food industry where she excelled in sales for 30 years.
In 1997, she married Steve Weihl in Sun Valley, Idaho. They were married for 22 years before he passed away in 2019. Patti was an avid skier who also enjoyed hiking, camping, playing and watching basketball, and attending NASCAR, Motocross and Hydroplane races. She was a dog lover, devoted to her dogs Arnie and Deja.
Patti is survived by her brother Steve Beaird (Linda); sisters Julie Hollenbach (Mark), Ady Davis (Eric), Margaret Davis and nine nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life for Patti at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations be made in her memory to: Oregon Health Sciences University, Oregon Daschund Rescue in Portland, or Displaced Pets in Vernonia, Oregon.
