Cesare Bruno, age 88, of Lincoln, California went to join his heavenly Father on November 15, 2024. He was born in Gile, Wisconsin on September 4, 1936, the son of Cesare Bruno and Mayme (Reinerio) Bruno. He attended Gile school, Roosevelt school in Montreal, Wisconsin St. Mary Catholic school and Hurley High school. Upon graduation he joined the United States Air Force and was stationed many places throughout the United States, Europe and Vietnam. He retired after serving his country for 27 years at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Upon retirement he began a new career teaching AFJROTC at San Bernardino High School in California. He enjoyed young people and said it was a special time in his life. On December 18, 1957, he married Hermina Sophie Meyer of München, Germany. She preceded him in death on December 10, 1987. Survivors include a son Robert and Pam Bruno of Villa Rica, Georgia and two daughters Karina and Howard Drake of Lakeland, Florida and Linda and David Tyson of Wheeling, West Virginia, sister Dorothy St. Onge of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and my loving companion Camille McDaniel. Cesare was blessed with five grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty and Gene Varalli and Marilyn and Chuck Donner.
In honor of Cesare, a Mass will be held at, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 280 Oak Tree Lane, Lincoln, CA 95648 on January 10, 2025 at 10:00 am.
