Jeffrey Alan Cunnagin

Jeff was born on March 22, 1953 in Sacramento, CA to Dick and Catherine Cunnagin. He was the second of four children, three sons and a daughter.

Jeff graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1972. He married his first wife, Donna Mugridge in 1973 and had two children, Elizabeth Catherine and Steven Michael. He married his second wife Karen O'Neill in 1986 and had two stepchildren, Andrew William and Timothy James. He resided in Cameron park for the last 40 years.

Jeff's passions were boating down the Sacramento river, water skiing, snow skiing, woodworking and building furniture. He loved animals, especially dogs. More than any of that he loved chocolate and tools! Jeff loved cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He loved working on cars and could fix anything and everything! His favorite magazine was Car and Driver, and he frequently spoke about the latest and greatest.

He was an entrepreneur and owned his own construction and painting business starting in 1976, Cunnagin Painting and Decorating. Later in his career, he made cabinets, and after he retired, he worked on furniture and woodworking.

Jeff was always the life of the party from childhood and through his adult life. He would always tell jokes and had a new one every time you saw him. He also liked to play practical jokes on people. He was known for his quick wit and infectious personality.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dick, and Mother, Kay. He is survived by his wife Karen, his four children, Elizabeth, Steven, Andy, and T.J. His six grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Mackenzie, Bryson, Emily and Cameron, his great grandaughter Allison. Also his three siblings, Michael, Gregory, and Colleen. He also had three nephews, Brian, Kevin and John, and two nieces Jackie and Juliana.

A private memorial for the family will be held on August 17th, 2021 in Rocklin.
