Julio Moya

Julio was born July 2, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas the son of the late Roman and Emilia (De Los Santos)Moya.

He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran, where he earned the Vietnam Service Medal with 5 Bronze Service Stars and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. In 1982 Julio enlisted in the California Air National Guard in North Highlands, California, where he was a vehicle technician, retiring as a Master Sergeant in 2004.

On April 21, 1990 Julio married the love of his life, Colleen Ford, who survives him. He is also survived by his daughter, Dora (JJ) Mullett of Michigan; his three sons, Raymond (Brandy) Moya, of Oregon; Thomas (Julie) Glaze of Arizona and Michael (Michele) Brooks of Texas; his sister, Emilia Garza of Texas; his sister-in-law, Kathleen (Fred) Union of California, 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing such a wonderful man.

Services will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon on August 27 at 1:00 PM.

Following the service a Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 4647 located at 3300 U St. Antelope, CA 95843.
