Patricia Gayle (Tabor) Wilson went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2024 from complications due to congestive heart failure at Carlton Senior Living in Orangevale, California. Gayle was born on January 8, 1939 to Helen and Patrick Tabor in Havre Montana. She had fond memories of growing up in Harlem, MT and was still very close to her classmates. She attended nurse’s training in Great Falls where she met her husband, Jerry Wilson. They married in 1959 and raised their family there, where Jerry was stationed at Malmstrom Air Force base for 21 years. They relocated to California in 1987 and Jerry passed in 2005.
Gayle was an avid seamstress and a wonderful cook. She was famous for her pies as she made the best pie crust from scratch! She always enjoyed her driving trips to Las Vegas to see her granddaughters and spending a little time at the casinos! She loved to play cards, working Jigsaw puzzles and wordsearch.
She was an integral part of Lakeview Village, the retirement community where she lived in Citrus Heights – for a time she led the Board and the Social Committee, then sold tickets to all of their events and was loved by many! We will miss her quick wit and great sense of humor.
Gayle was preceded in death by husband Jerry and granddaughter, Breana Wilson. She is survived by her daughter, Diana Davis and her son, Steve (Jayme) Wilson, granddaughters Kayla Wilson and Erica (Austin) Tenney and her two great grandsons Brooks and Everett Tenney.
