Robert Evans Pritchard, born April 5, 1942 in Denver, Colorado, passed away on August 21, 2021 in Sacramento, California. A U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient, he retired after a storied 30 year career as a Master Sergeant, last stationed at The Presidio, San Francisco in 1989.
He is survived by his daughter Jasmine (Jason), step-daughter Tara (Henry), sisters Barbara (Vladimir) and Susan (Dino), nieces Robin (Ray) and Kim (Jay), nephews John (Rita) and Darrin, and a large extended family.
Preceded in death by his wife Linda and longtime companion Wannetta. His love of the Old West, Native American history, passion for buffalos and his armored cavalry military service will never be forgotten.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date in Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the St. Joseph's Indian School, 1301 N. Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57325. Arrangements under the care of Trident Society Roseville.
