It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sally Earline Thrasher, a beloved resident of West Sacramento, on March 12, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Flagstaff, Arizona, on August 8, 1942, Sally enriched the lives of many through her vibrant spirit and numerous passions. Her creativity shone through her love of gardening, crafting, and creating unique works of art from the most unexpected materials. She possessed a keen eye for fashion, with a particular fondness for clothing, jewelry, and socks. Sally's greatest joys, however, were her family. She cherished raising her grandchildren and spending precious time with her great-granddaughter.
Her 25+ years of dedicated service to the Washington Unified School District were a testament to her commitment and love for children. She found immense fulfillment in watching generations of students grow and thrive, a connection that kept her feeling young and vibrant. Even beyond her school commitments, Sally's spirit found expression in her meticulously tended gardens, transforming her yards into beautiful and inviting spaces.
Sally is survived by her granddaughter, Holley Creason of West Sacramento, California; grandson, Guy Creason of Yuba City, California; great-granddaughter, Adeline Sally Creason of Yuba City, California; son, John Whitt of West Sacramento, California; and daughter, Sherry Creason of Cave Junction, Oregon. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by all who knew her.
