Shirley , we miss your fighting spirit and sharp wit.  Whenever I see a hummingbird in my yard I think of you since you had feeders out for them all year.

Shirley was a special and unique character who never gave up. She was a dear friend to my late Aunt Marie-Louise Solaja. She'll be giving them hell where ever she is. 

What a woman! She exemplified "sliding in sideways" and she will be hugely missed. I hope she haunts us, she would be the best ghost ever! I hope to see her again in the afterlife, and will always think of her when I think I can't handle things. An incredible woman who left her mark on society and everyone she ever met. Love you Shirley!
