Barbara Jean Freeman

Barbara Jean Freeman departed this life, on February 15, 2025. She was born on December 03, 1936 to Ruth Thompson and Frank Hobdy in Mobile, Alabama. She attended St John’s Catholic School and graduated in 1955.She went into Air Force where she served a number of years. She moved to Lompoc, CA in 1963, where she started work with US Postal service. She moved to San Diego, CA in 1970 where she worked at the Midway Post Office until retiring as a Supervisor in 1990. Barbara loved playing cards, Bingo, Bunco and attending and having Parties. She loved her family, and was a very generous Person. She is survived by, her 2 daughters, Veronica Freeman and Bonita Freeman of Spring Valley, CA, Grandchildren, Myisha Lashawn Chapman, Darnell Chapman, and Terell Deshaun Freeman, of San Diego, CA, Great Grandchildren,Joseph Raphael Hill, Marques Robert’s, Aryon Oshae Lewis, Endiya Goodman, Mariyah Goodman, Omarion Chapman,Ivianna Barbara Leann Jackson, Iyanna Jackson, Jaylen Scott, Lyric Reynolds,Teronnica Freeman , Terell Freeman and Tyrell Freeman Great Great grandchildren, Elijah Sol Hill and Neveah Dream Lewis . She was loved by all and will be missed very much by all who loved her.
