Daughter of Irene and Benjamin Stewart, born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. Graduate of Shawnee Christian High in Louisville, married the love of her life, our dad, Thomas True in 1949. Gave birth to three children, David, Wayne, and Jeffry over the next decade. Loving wife and mother, our home was filled with focus on faith, music, and family activities. Mom was a skilled baker, making and decorating beautiful wedding cakes, home cooked meals, always trying new recipes out on us. She was skilled with sewing, knitting, and other crafts, working part time at Knit Nook and in adult education at West Genesee High School teaching others to enjoy her craft. Mom and Dad lived in Camillus (Syracuse) NY from the 1950’s through 1989 when they retired to Bayonet Point, Florida. She joined our family in La Mesa (San Diego) CA in 2000. Active with North Syracuse Baptist Church, later with Shadow Mountain Church here in San Diego, faithfully supporting the church and many other ministries.
