Beverly Lee Reed

Beverly Lee (Johnson) Reed was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa in 1935. She moved west to Northern California with her family at age 7. She and her loving husband, Leonard met at church when she was 10 and he was 11. They were married when Beverly was 18 and remained married for 69 years. They moved to the San Diego area in 1961. Beverly is survived by her three children, Dan, Andy, and Valerie as well six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Beverly volunteered for many activities at her church including the senior luncheons and being a co-leader for life groups (bible study) for many years at North Coast Church. She had also been a Stephen Minister at the Lutheran Church. Over the years, Beverly enjoyed visiting the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. She was a diehard Padres fan and loved going to the games and watching them play on TV. She also enjoyed time spent with friends, family and her Bible study group. Her favorite Bible verse was 2 Timothy 4:7,8.

A celebration of life will be held at the North Coast Church San Marcos/Escondido on June 17 at 10:30am
