Carole Margaret Lemmon, 82 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15th, 2020, after repeated battles with cancer. Carole was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret Chesley, a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her extensive family and friends. She was an antiquarian, bibliomaniac, cinephile and foodie who made things more vibrant for those around her. Carole is survived by her husband Robert Lemmon, sister Ann Thurber, her children and stepchildren Dennis Rast, Louis Rast, Molly Cromwell, Jane Marshall, Robert Lemmon Jr., Kisha Tate, Kelly Kelley, & Kate Brehm DeLavan. Services will be held privately with a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Focus on the Family or Samaritan’s Purse.
