Collette A Mcmanus

Collette A. McManus passed away on 12/2/17 in Oceanside, California from complications of a stroke. She was born in 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. She earned a B.A. degree from Columbia College in Communications, Multi-Media, Photography & Film. Collette worked 23 years at the San Onofre Nuclear Power Plant where she retired as an Executive Assistant. Upon retirement she enjoyed traveling to Italy, Paris and Cuba. Her many hobbies included skydiving, sewing and quilting. She also volunteered for many organizations from numerous Quilt Guilds to Women in Nuclear. She is preceded in death by her mother Alice Lorraine North, father John McManus and brother John Deuran. There will be a private internment at Mission San Luis Rey Cemetery. A celebration of Life will be held on January 5, 2018 @ 12:00 pm at the Jolly Roger in the Oceanside Harbor.
