Betty lived 92 years full of life, laughter and love and just always wanted to be around family. She enjoyed cruises to places like the Panama Canal, the Hawaiian Islands and Alaska with her husband Bob, sisters Shirley and Gloria, along with their husbands Jimmy and Cap.

Holidays were always full of joy, laughter and good food. She especially loved Christmastime and every year we would gather the family together at her sister Shirley’s house for Christmas Eve with the highlight of the evening being the three sisters and their sister in law Peggy opening their gifts. The joyous laughter of them all “cackling” together would have everyone smiling from ear to ear!

Betty loved music and dancing, with her favorite performer being Ol’ Blue Eyes, Frank Sinatra and her favorite dances the Balboa and the Lindy Hop.

Betty also loved to cook. Her potato salad is a classic! She loved to cross stitch and made many special wall hangings and Christmas stockings that will be cherished for years to come.

Betty was an avid athlete and loved to play golf, softball, volleyball and to bowl. She also loved watching football with her husband Bob. Their favorite teams were the USC Trojans and the Los Angeles Rams.

Betty worked in the banking and insurance industries. She worked as an Executive Secretary for State Farm Insurance from 1976 until she retired in 1991.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob and step son Rick. She is survived by her ex-husband Larry Krymer, her sons Gary Krymer (Leslie), Greg Krymer, her daughter Valerie Kerr, and her step daughters Sharie Morse and Michele Knipp, as well as seven grandchildren, Sean, Randee, Mindee, Kimmee, Kavika, Rhyan and Hayden, and four great grandchildren, Emily, Ryan, Henry and Lucy, and many dear nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed by all that had the honor of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life for Betty will be held at the home of Gary and Leslie Krymer on Wednesday November, 25th at 2:00 PM.
