John Iver Hanson of Escondido, died June 18, 2024 at the age of 92 years. John was born in Huntington Park, California in 1932. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joan M. Hanson (née Kidwell), two daughters, three grandchildren, and two great granddaughters. John will be laid to rest at Miramar National Cemetery, in memory of his years in the U.S.Navy, having achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
