Jon Adam Engel

Jon worked as a firefighter in Cedar Falls for 15 years and once served as a city councilman. He then went into sales which brought him to California where he finished his career in timeshare sales.

He was actively involved in golfing with friends and he loved to talk with anyone.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lynn and Iva Engel.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Patricia, sister Lynda Engel of Denver, IA, three children Jeff (Lori) Engel of Cedar Falls, IA, Matt (Becky) Engel of Trabuco Canyon, CA, Julie (Sean) Alexander of Waterloo, IA., eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank La Paloma Healthcare Center for the care and compassion they showed Jon in his final years.

Interment to follow at Fredsville Lutheran Cemetery, Dike, Iowa.
