Joyce Joan Vouvakis

Joyce Joan Vouvakis was born on March 6, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ to William and Patricia Vouvakis who precede her death. She passed away on July 4, 2021 in Encinitas, Ca. She is survived by her children: James Basile Jr and wife Barbara, Linda O'Malley and husband Thomas. Siblings: Louise Rainey and husband Jack, George Vouvakis who precede her death and wife Tula. Grandchildren: Ryan, Tyler, Thomas Jr, Heather, and George. Great grandchildren: Sophia, Paul, Scarlet, and Kayden. Nieces: Patty Lane and Laurie Jeffery. Nephew: Henry Koch and wife (caregiver) Cari Koch.

Joyce was a caregiver for Carlsbad ARF with four adult residents that were developmentally disabled. She loved spending free time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday July 10, 2021 by Father Angelo Maginas at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church 3459 Manchester Ave Cardiff, Ca 92007.
