Kathleen Ramona Holder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen R Holder (Blondi) of Lemon Grove, Ca. Mom left us on January 29th, 2024, in the home of her niece Carla Gammon. Due to a brief but courageous battle with COPD, mom was preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Valentino Marasco, her sister Joann Brazzle, two brothers, Kenny and Ronnie Marasco, Mom is survived by four children, Jeff and (Carol Freeman spouse) Mike, Dale Freeman and Beth Morrow. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as great nieces and nephews, many friends in California, Washington, Utah and Florida who have always been considered extended family. Carla along with Mike were mom’s primary care givers for quite some time and especially during her final months when mom’s needs became more demanding. Mom grew up in Gardena, California and attended Gardena High School in 1960. Married to Howard E. Freeman (veteran, USN) Mom was surrounded by family, at home with her Hospice care team along with Chaplin John at the time of her passing.

The family would like to acknowledge the Sharp Hospice care team for their compassion and continued unwavering care and emotional support offered to Carla and Mike through this difficult time, for this we are forever grateful and, for their extraordinary care and true compassion for Mom, Thank You.

No longer in pain, forever at peace and always in our hearts.
