Lois had been retired for many years and last worked in home health care. She loved to volunteer at the Oceanside Senior Center and the local food bank. She learned to sew and crochet at a young age and continued to do so till her death. She was forever on the hunt for anything Betty Boop or Coca Cola.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step father Gene Sauer.
She leaves behind her three children, Lloyd (Angela) Overcast, Joetta Copeland and Genetta Butler. Three step children Lewis Overcast, Lawrence Overcast and Delynn Thomann.
She was an adoring Nanny to Cameron Copeland, Lexus Butler, Sarah Overcast and Samantha Overcast. She proudly went to many band performances, horse riding lessons and archery competitions.
She was especially close to her cousin Polly Capps and her son Terence whom she considered more as a daughter and grandson.
She was a devote Jehovah’s Witness for over 40 years and will be remembered by her many friends in the Arkansas and Oceanside congregations that she attended.
She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
No service is planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to jw.org or iveyranch.com.
