Nate graduated from Lansing Christian High School in 1980 and Lake Superior State College in 1985.
As a young man, Nate worked in national parks in government conservation programs, and in nursing homes as a health aid. Nate loved the outdoors: fishing, hunting, and hiking. He was a fount of information about any topic: birds, animals, classic movies, science, to name a few. He loved playing guitar and listening to great music. He had a kind spirit and knew when and how to connect with people.
He is preceded in death by his wife Christi Morris Breher, his father Bill Breher, and his brother-in-law Marty Dempster.
He is survived by his mother, Thomasine Breher; siblings Joe Breher (Joan), Kate De Jong (Dan), and David Breher; and five nieces and nephews: Rhiannon Middleton, Robert Ross, Brandon Breher, Russell De Jong, and Frank De Jong.
