Valerie Kathleen Conley

Born in Westwood, California and died at home surrounded by loved ones in Oceanside, Ca.

Valerie spent her younger years in the Bay Area. After marrying the love of her life, Steve Conley, they relocated to San Diego for Steve’s last year in the Navy.

They settled in Oceanside where they raised their family and lived happily for 50 years. She spent her career doing various jobs and retired after working for 20 years as a Claims Adjustor at Classic Forwarding in Carlsbad. Due to Covid she spent these last few years at home with her beloved.

She is survived by her devoted husband, their favorite children Chris Conley and Jennifer Conley Odom, seven grandchildren, sisters Vickie Deragon and Veda Ortiz, brother Fritz Stoppel, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She loved her family and would do anything for those that she loved. She was a devoted wife, mother, auntie, and nana. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her memory to the MS Society or American Lung Association.

Her service will be held on January 20th at 3:30pm at the Seabird Resort, 101 Mission Ave Oceanside, Ca 92054
