I am absolutely heartbroken to hear of the passing of Mr. Best. He was one of my favorite Junior Lifeguard instructors growing up. During my last year at Muirlands I was ecstatic to discover he had started teaching. I knew he would make such an impact on everyone who came in contact with him. I moved away a long time ago, but he was definitely a person who left a mark! My heart goes out to his family, they have truly lost a great man!

His service was very nice, and it was great to see the church over flowing with people who loved him. Mr Best was my son's teacher for this year and even though I did not know him personally, I do know what I have heard from my son. He was an incredibly compassionate person that cared so much for his family and students. In the seven short months that my son knew him he only spoke of him with the highest respect and regards. Mr best always seemed to come up at the dinner table every night, always having to do with something new that he taught him or something really nice that he did for the students. Mr Best is truly an inspiration to my son Miles and my family and we are so honored to have gotten the brief chance to have had him in our lives.
