He was born on October 22, 1943 in Augusta, Georgia where he grew up in a military family with his parents, sister, and brother traveling all around the country.
Arthur served in the United States Army before he was honorable discharged. After He worked as a Madera Sheriff reserve Deputy and was part of the United States Army Reserve.
He was one of the foundering Members of One Nation Under God Motorcycle Ministry and was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur “Sarge” and Mattie Alvarez, Son Arthur “Beezer” Alvarez, grandchildren Emett Motz and Jacob Motz and siblings Linda Olgetree and Michael Alvarez.
He is survived by his wife, Roxie Alvarez and his children, Jack Motz and his wife Emelyn of LeGrand, CA, Michael Motz and his wife Leticia of Madera, CA, Robert Alvarez of Eugene, OR, Richard Schelir and his wife Jennifer of Florence, SC, Christina Crawford and her husband John of Fowler, CA and Joshua Page and his wife Sarah of Lemoore, CA, along with 25 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside service at Arbor Vitae Cemetery Madera, CA on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 10am. Celebration of life to follow the Graveside service at The VFW Post 1981 in Madera, CA
