He is survived by his wife Barbara L Smith of 59 years, his 2 children Gary Smith of West Nyack, NY and Leanne Shorter of Slate Hill ,NY, 2 grandchildren Sarah Shorter and Brent Shorter and 1 great grandchild, Elyana Shorter.
