She was born in Poblado Anahuac, Tamaulipas, Mexico, raised by her parents Juana and Reyes Flores, both deceased.
Dora lived life on her own terms. Expressed her love through cooking. Had a deep passion for singing, shopping and a glamor style all her own. Credits Alcoholics Anonymous for her 32 years of sobriety.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cesar Garcia and granddaughter, Carmen Flores. Survived by her 6 sisters and 2 brothers, her 5 children Carlos, Cesar (Gordo), Alejandro, Carolina (Chata) and Eva. Her 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Dora's memory to the Lung Cancer Association or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
