She was a longtime resident of Visalia who attended Visalia High School ( Redwood High School). She served the United States during War time in 1941 as an airplane mechanic at Rankin Field in Visalia. She worked on returning Fighter planes, bombers and training planes for our Army Air Corp. During that time she also worked on her parents ranch raising cattle and harvesting walnuts.
She was an avid outdoors person and even was a young model in New York but most of all she was a mother of 7 children. She raised 7 children during her life on this earth and devoted her attention to them.
Lorraine was a devout Christian woman in her later years and once said “ I know when it’s my time, it will be a happy time as I will be with my Lord and my peace will be complete”.
She is preceded in death by her Son Terry Winters, Sandra Winters and Carol Bomhard.
Her surviving Children are Richard Bomhard of Visalia , Cynthia Gosselin of Oceanside, Gary Winters of Visalia and David Winters of Visalia.
