Lucy Mae Dorcheus

She was born on April 29, 1927, in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Lucy spent much of her adult life in and around the surrounding areas of Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Lucy worked as a bank teller early on before purchasing a small convenience store in Ontario, CA. Lucy then purchased and ran a couple of successful dress shops in the Ontario, CA area.

Lucy enjoyed traveling with her husband and going to the casino.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Maudie Phillips, Sister, Lillian Morrison, brothers, Louis Phillips and Dean Phillips, husband Guy Dorcheus, daughter, Linda Hackney, and grandson, Rick Markee.

Lucy is survived by her stepson, Chuck (Betty) Markee, stepdaughter, Leslie Shapley, granddaughter, Melanie (David) Tyler, grandson, Michael (Bridget) Markee, and 3 great grandchildren, Logan, Kallysta and Erik Tyler.

The family would like to thank Dawn Migalski for the care and compassion she showed our loved one in her final days. Melanie would not have been able to get through the last 6 years without all her help.

Interment to follow at Riverside National Cemetery.
