She was born on May 13, 1947, in San Jose, California where she grew up, started her career, and raised her family.
Sandee graduated from James Lick High School and began her career with American Airlines in the 1960’s. After decades in the travel and event planning industry, she found her passion in the skin care industry retiring as an Esthetician later in her life.
Sandee had a zest for life, family, friends, new things, exercise and being active. She loved travel and took the kids, relatives, friends and her husband all over the world, she loved Tuscany in Italy above all.
Sandee was born in San Jose and lived most of her life there then moved to her last home in Aptos in 2016 with her husband, Dave Leone. She never missed a beat as she and Dave quickly integrated into the central coast, loving the ocean, and gathering new friends. Sandee established two book clubs and enjoyed the outdoors, exercise, home improvement, decorating, and taking care of Dave.
She was actively volunteering her time at Hopes Closet of Santa Cruz and the St. Francis Soup Kitchen of Santa Cruz.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Fern Frost as well as her siblings Kenny Frost, Ronnie Frost, Roger Frost, and Jill Quijada, Sandee was the eldest.
She is survived by her loyal and doting husband David Leone, loving daughters Natasha Elliott and Nicolla Hill, son in laws Brian Hill and Matt Elliott, and her beautiful grandchildren Beau Elliott, Jackson Hill, Piper Elliott, and Marley Hill.
Sandee adopted beautiful souls during her life like Diane Richards and a host of friends, a list too great to create.
The family would like to thank all of Sandee’s friends who have been the light of her life, a great source of companionship, and a fantastic source of gossip!
