I met Barbara and her family while trick or treating in Milford, Delaware. Her father had just been transferred there from Hawaii as mine had transferred to Dover AFB just the year before after a solo tour in Japan. We were both in the seventh grade. Everyone was so interested in getting to know this family from such such an exotic place.
The other students applauded Barbara and her sister, Pam, whenever they performed Hawaiian   dances in traditional dress with a variety of instruments.  I can still see them as as I reflect on Barbara's passing.  Even at this early age, Barbara, possessed the qualities of a leader.  She was well-liked by her classmates as she made many friends during the time she attended Milford Junior and Senior High.  Her classmates enjoyed having her make a visit as a guest at a special reunion.  I enjoyed seeing her, too.
I was the first of our families to arrive in  California to attend Nursing School.  When I married an LA native, our first Thanksgiving was spent with the Fox family in Vacaville, but Barbara and her husband were not there because they were living in Greece.  
Later my parents also ended up in Vacaville.  I got to see Barbara in her historic Victorian home - my first look at one.  Unfortunately, with the distance between LA and Vacaville and the busyness of daily life and career, it was easier to visit with Barbara in Milford, Delaware.
Barbara and her sisters were so supportive when my mother, Anne LaMorge of vacaville, passed on in 2012.  I am so sorry not to have seen Barbara again.  
My condolences to the family of Barbara Fox  Kondylis - her husband, children and grandchildren along with her father, Ted Fox, and her sisters and their families.  I salute 
you, Barbara, for making a difference in our world and for a life well-lived.

Leading by example!  Such a wonderful role model for young people and an inspiration and beacon for the rest of us. Sending my deepest condolences to all of her family.

You were a true life force.  You left a remarkable legacy of family, friends and deeds.  You will be missed but never forgotten.

Barbra will be missed by all that knew her. She had the spirit of a tiger! 

Our family is saddened to hear this news and send our sincere condolences. To her family and friends;  we hope the knowledge that she meant so much to so many and made this world a better place will bring comfort to them.
She was strong, determined and inspirational. She was a lady.

To a lady that all of Vallejo will miss. To a lady that always represented Vallejo in the best manner possible. To a Lady that I was so proud to call my friend.  Our dearest condolences to all of you! She was a wonderful woman who did a lot for our community and will be remembered for many many great things! May her soul rest in peace and  her memory be eternal!!!
