Bettina Chrisawn McWhood

Tina passed peacefully at her home in Concord,CA. On January 18,2025

Beloved daughter of Ruby Chrisawn Effler. Mother of seven children:

Henry McCurry, Jimmy McCurry, Diane McCurry-Cantrell, Ronnie and Kathy McCurry, Johnny McCurry, Jeffrey McCurry, Karen and Richard McCurry Valles, and stepson Scott A. McWhood.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy at age 55, her mother Ruby at age 95 and brother John Chrisawn at age 88.

She is survived by her husband Scott McWhood of 48 years, six of her seven children, sister Patsy Effler Matthews.. 16 grand children, 20 great-grandchildren and stepson Scott A. McWhood

Tina retired from Eden Hospital in Castro Valley after 23 years as supervisor of Central supply.

She will be missed by all that knew her and loved her.
