Donald Kenneth Partington

Don was born on January 23, 1939 in Oakland, CA to his parents Kenneth and Alice Partington. He served 4 years in the US Air Force stationed in Okinawa Japan and Texas. After returning from service Don began a career in the hospitality industry as a bartender and retired as the purchase manager for Sheraton Hotel in Concord. After retirement he could be still be found behind the bar mixing drinks and telling jokes. He was an avid sports fan and memorabilia collector.

He is survived by his children Daniel, Richard, Sandra (Mark) Harshman and David; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Nancey; his parents Kenneth and Alice; and brother Larry.

Due to COVID-19, burial will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. The family suggest that memorial donations be made to The Humane Society or charity of choice.
