Dear Dick and David,
So sorry to hear of Jeanette's passing and understand that this is a hard time for both of you. I was the youngest girl cousin on the Wauter's side and always admired Jeanette so much and it was great to get to know her again (adult to adult) when she came to Iowa for the Cousin's Reunion in recent years. 

Many of the Wauter's family have such happy memories of going to Clinton on vacation for 2 or 3 days and Theresa (Mary's girl) and I getting to sleep in Jeanette's room with her beautiful Priscilla curtains. That was very fancy decor for a couple of farm girls. 
I also remember her making her own bridesmaid's bouquet on the morning of Bob and Janice's wedding. Theresa and I sat at the dining room table and watched in amazement.  Jeanette had picked some blooms from Aunt Gusta's flower garden and proceeded to arrange, snip and turn, finally adding ribbon and ended with a lovely creation. I think her artistic abilities continued later on with her creation of so many beautiful quilts. 

I know you will miss her greatly but hang on to the many beautiful memories that you have of your wife and mother.
